Residence Hotel Amalfi on the beach

It is only a few steps to reach the turquoise waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea and to enjoy the beautiful beaches and coves which are dotted along the coast.  The Residence Hotel Amalfi is actually located on the sea front and the Marina Grande beach is less than 50 metres from the hotel.   This beach is amongst the liveliest on the Amalfi Coast, is a favourite with young people and is the focal point of the summer season.   In an enviable position, the Residence Hotel Amalfi was founded in the 50’s with the conversion from a historical aristocratic palace into a hotel which has enjoyed the patronage of its guests for many years.  For many of our guests, the favourite time of day is breakfast which is served every morning on the large terrace overlooking the sea – which makes waking up in such beautiful surroundings a real pleasure.   Also very close to the Residence Hotel Amalfi is the beach at Atrani which is less than a kilometre away and during the summer season is one of the most popular for families with children.  There is also the Duoglio beach which is set like a jewel among the cliffs overlooking the sea and is reachable either by boat or via a long stair way.  It is like a small corner of the Caribbean, or Paradise, in the blue of the Mediterranean Sea.
